100% natural rayon viscose machine embroidery thread with exceptional high sheen for sophisticated embroidery work. Made from the highest quality raw materials to ensure unsurpassed tensile strength. Soft and flexible offering outstanding productivity capabilities, perfect for all embellishment styles across all market sectors.
Four different thicknesses have been developed to help obtain the best results and performance for any application. Global standard No.40, lighter No.60 for small lettering and fine details, heavier No.30 ideal for knitwear and larger designs, then the thickest No.12 for a decorative hand stitched look.
Classic viscose threads are anti-static. This means that they do not build up static charge and can be used for the manufacture of anti-static garments. If Classic thread is to be used for anti-static purposes, we recommend conducting tests with the final garment, not just the individual components before production.
Embroidery threads MADEIRA Polyneon
POLYNEON is the brand name for Madeira’s 100% polyester machine embroidery thread. Produced using special winding methods, unique to Madeira, these durable petroleum based threads will run smoothly at high speeds on various embroidery machines without looping and have extreme washing resistance to chlorine and bleach and can withstand frequent, heavy duty industrial laundering.

Madeira’s unique selection of high quality metallic threads present added dimension to both industrial embroidery and decorative applications. The range offers a stunning variety of colours and different thread thicknesses, each with very different properties. Choose from smooth and sparkling, extremely fine to more substantial weights and even bleach, chlorine and denim wash resistant. Constructed to ensure efficient production FS threads work smoothly on embroidery machines offering excellent shine.
Embroidery threads MADEIRA Fire fighter
FIREFIGHTER is made from 100% fire resistant Aramid, contains NOMEX® branded fibres from Du Pont® and complies with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The thread is designed not only to resist ignition, but also to prevent flames from spreading, as well as to self-extinguish once the source of the fire is removed.
Flame resistant’ describes a material inherently resistant to catching fore when exposed to a flame; it does not melt or drip and will self-extinguish without the heat source, therefore preventing fire from spreading. In contrast a ‘flame retardant’ (see POLYNEON FR) thread refers to a material that has been chemically treated to self-extinguish. Please always make sure to select the right thread according to your customer’s requirements and the applicable laws and regulations.

FROSTED MATT is a polyester thread with a beautiful matt effect finish, the world’s first truly matt and lightfast embroidery thread. Burmilana thread is a 50% acrylic 50% wool mix approximately three times thicker than standard embroidery thread.
Burmilana is a strong, thick no.12 weight thread which fills designs quickly, ideal for overlocking and decorative stitching to create a hand-crafted look. Available in 147 colours including mélange shades.
